Frequently asked questions

What do I wear?
Just wear loose and comfortable clothing.

What happens when I first come and see you?
The first step is the initial assessment where you will be talked through your complaint, your work, your lifestyle and any previous or current therapies and medication. This information, combined with other details will enable me to determine a plan that is specific to you. This is your opportunity to tell your therapist how it really feels without feeling rushed and to enjoy the full attention of your practitioner.

How long does an appointment last?
Your initial consultation will take 60 minutes. In this time you will be thoroughly assessed and receive a treatment. Follow up appointments will be 40 minutes.

How much does it cost?
£60 for an initial consultation, £40 for each follow up appointment.

What happens afterwards?
You will be given a personal home treatment plan to take home, this plan may involve a combination of exercises and routines and possible follow up appointments. The emphasis will be on preventing or minimising future discomfort and curing your current complaint.

How will I know if the treatments will work?
If your condition is chronic (has lasted a long time) don’t despair, just because something didn’t work last time doesn’t mean that a new approach won’t work this time.
